What a Christmassy week!
When we create a special experience for our children, we as teachers often rely on so much help from others. Our 'Friends of Stockbridge School' (FOSS) outdid themselves this week with a very special evening at late night shopping on Stockbridge High Street and then a successful Christmas fayre on Friday. We were joined by a very special guest who arrived by helicopter!
Not only did the children experience these 2 superb events but they put on their own very special nativity performance of 'Prickly Hay'. They sang their hearts out, remembered all their lines and chicken pox didn't dampen our Christmas spirit! The children demonstrated their resilience on the Wednesday night when the lights flickered and even stayed out for a few minutes during a windy storm.
Well done Stockbridge!
